SID members introduction

1. Mao

Name: Yamaguchi Masao
Birthday: Fukuoka / October 23rd, 1977
Part: Vocal

I know what you think.. Yeah, he should be 34-year-old-man, but he looks like 18-year-old-boy. He has such deepening vibrato voice that reach my heart completely. He wrote all the lyrics. He was a bad child. Gangster, and else. He didn't know what he wanted to do in the future. But here he is, singing to the core of his heart, delivering his inspiring lyrics and beautifully inspiring lots of people.

2. Shinji

Name: Ninomiya Shinji
Birthday: Saitama / February 8th, 1979
Part: Guitar

I know it too, yeah... He should be 32 years old, but he still looks like 21 years old man. Age doesn't work in SID's members, you know. And Shinji plays guitar with most of jazz chords. So, though SID bring on the rock music, they still have the jazz feeling on it. Thank to Shinji who has god-like guitar skill.

3. Aki

Name: Ichiki Akihito
Birthday: Kanagawa / February 3rd, 1981
Part: Bass

He's absolutely my love. I just love how he plays his bass, his music and his stage-act. He's the main composer in band. Actually, together with Shinji, but he composed most of the songs. And he's one song to another just different. Don't ever think because of his beautiful face, he had happy past time. He was bullied in his school because of his face, and his high-pitched girl-like voice. Thank god he kept going on till now..

4. Yuuya

Name: Shirato Yuuya
Birthday: Chiba / December 9th, 1981
Part: Drum

What could I say about this man? He's absolutely gorgeous and talented. In his 27th year old, he'd been recruited by the All Drums Japan and predicated as High Level Technique Drummer for his ability not only to play one genre of music. But all of genres. And he can play piano and guitar. One of the guitar-hero, as I could say. Yuuya is the joker, he likes to pull out on joke and never failed to make everyone crack into tears. He just... absolutely gorgeous! And if you listen to SID, you'll find that none of the songs had same drum-beat. He loves to explore and experiment with his drums. And the result, SID's music you've been listening to :)


This is my love for SID and how I adore this people. I'd love to be like them. Me, as a vocalist, I want to be like Mao who can reach people's heart with his voice and his lyrics.
